In the course of visiting several high schools in the West Valley of Phoenix, the New College Recruitment Team was repeatedly asked by prospective students, “Why should I go to West campus instead of Tempe?” We designed this marketing piece to answer that very question. With a wide variety of different reasons for a student to choose West campus for their collegiate experience, we developed this to resemble a paint swatch found at any home improvement store. Strategically laid out on our tables at college fairs and community events, the “Why West?” swatch book was a big hit, as students and parents alike flipped through the swatches to see all that awaited them at ASU’s West campus.
